Lift and Stage Tile
Serviceable concrete tile is carefully lifted and organized for reuse.
RECENT TEMPE ROOFING PROJECT
This Tempe home received a complete tile lift and reset so the aging waterproofing layer beneath the concrete tile could be renewed. The original project photos below document underlayment installation, tile reinstallation and the completed roof.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
On a concrete tile roof, the underlayment beneath the tile is the primary water-shedding layer. For this Tempe project, the existing tile was carefully lifted and staged while the roof surface received new underlayment. Serviceable tile was then reinstalled to preserve the home’s established appearance.
Original project photos document organized tile staging, underlayment installation, tile reinstallation and the clean finished result.

THE PROCESS
Serviceable concrete tile is carefully lifted and organized for reuse.
The exposed roof surface is evaluated and prepared before the new system is installed.
New underlayment is applied across the roof planes with attention to critical transitions and penetrations.
Tile is reset and the finished roof is reviewed for a clean, consistent result.
PROJECT TAKEAWAYS
The progress and completion photos show two parts of this Tempe project: renewal beneath the tile and the final appearance after serviceable concrete tiles were reinstalled. A roof assessment should consider both the visible covering and the condition of the materials below it.
Suitable tiles can be lifted and reset as part of an underlayment replacement. The scope should explain tile condition, handling, replacement pieces and the work included at transitions. Read our tile underlayment cost guide and tile roof maintenance checklist.
